Jagoš Marković is an extremely imaginative architect of total theatre where audiences are hit by scenes of powerful emotion, and also by precise finishing touches of his directorial ideas. He is already known to audiences in Rijeka. In the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc he directed the successful and awarding winning “Filumen Marturano” which delighted audiences in Italy, as well as the opera “Carmen”, a performance that caused controversy and even resulted in polemic tones outside of Rijeka.

This time we can say that the well-known director continues his work in his favourite theme – the Mediterranean since his greatest theatre hits belong precisely in the Mediterranean circuit.
