Three well known European dramatic authors, Tena Štivičić from Croatia, Rui Zink from Portugal as well as Edoardo Erba from Italy have written a text according to “Canovacci” which Carlo Goldoni wrote in French for actors of the Commici dell’arte, and which has the shared title of  “Aventure Camille i Harlekin” [“The Adventures of Camille and Harlequin”].

The imaginative Italian-French director Toni Cafiero will endeavour to create a contemporary theatrical story about today’s Venice in the jaws of globalization and commercialisation, which is taking the soul from the new consumer society.

After this opening night in Rijeka, the play will have its premiere at the Venetian biennial at the end of July, and will also guest perform at the International Festival of MITE in Lisbon as well as in Sardinia.
