Director Nigel Cole (1959) begun his career in the eighties working on television shows and documentaries. His firstling feature Saving Grace (2000) draw great attention (Sundance Audience Award and a nomination for best director of British independent film) and his second feature Calendar Girls (2003) achieved great success. He is the author of several episodes of the documentary series In the Wild, featuring big Hollywood stars, such as Julia Roberts, Meg Ryan, etc. He also directed films A Lot Like Love (2005) and $5 a Day (2008).
