 Rijeka’s
Philharmonic orchestra’s performances have distinguished several Rijeka
Summer Nights festivals and that is why Rijeka’s audience always eagerly
anticipates their regular summer concerts which are always a true
musical pleasure.
This year the Philharmonic orchestra shall perform Vivaldi’s Concert for
flute and Bizet’s Carmen fantasie accompanied by an exceptional Italian
musician Luisa Sello. Luisa Sello graduated very young from the
Conservatory in Udine and has perfected her art in Paris. Among many
others, she has worked with the orchestra of Teatro alla Scala
under
the conductorship
of Riccardo Mutti. Her performances are
 highly praised and
regularly described as having “excellent power of interpretation,
absolute mastering of the instrument and scene”, while stating for the
artist that she has “enchanted the audience” and “...perfect...has again
proven her extraordinary talent...”.
