Commemorating
the 200th birthday of the great Hungarian composer, conductor
and piano virtuoso, unparalleled in his own time, Franz Liszt, who has
left behind a rich musical heritage, we will be enjoying the performance
of an exquisite organ player, Edmund Andler Borić. Born in Zadar, Edmund
Andler Borić graduated piano at the Music Academy in Zagreb, in the
class of Professor Ida Gamulin. He specialized his organ interpretation
in master classes of Jaroslav Tuma, Pieter van Dijk and Daniel Roth. He
excels in virtuosic
compositions
from the
romanticism
and modern music. Having performed several hundreds of concerts in
Europe, South African Republic, USA and Russia, he is the most prominent
young organ musician. He recorded his first solo CD that received the
Porin award from the Croatian music industry in 2010.
