JASNA BILUŠIĆ & NEW DEAL
CONCERT
Band:
Saša Borovec (doublebass), Hrvoje Galler (piano), Nino Mureškić (percussions),
Žarko Hajdarhodžić (flute)
Jasna
Bilušić has in her resume many roles in the theatre, on film, among
others a rewarded role in a monodrama Piaf in which she portrayed and
sung the songs of the unforgettable Edith Piaf. She has performed all
over the country as a star jazz singer, having proven her exquisite
singing and interpretational skills long time ago. With her band The New
deal,
she
recorded the album titled
Fifty Ways... where she affirmed her excellent
vocal possibilities and managed to present interesting interpretations
of famous jazz standards, as well as some hits of the 80’s, such as
Madonna’s Like a Virgin, and an interpretation of a sevdah song “Što te
nema” by Jadranka Stojaković. Keeping this in mind, we can expect a
beautiful evening of music with a very broad repertoire. The artist said
that she would like to interpret some of the songs that pull her own
heart strings, as well as some of the songs from the album that is
coming out in September of this year.
All
visitors of Jasna Bilušić’s concert will get a tour of the Memorial
library and the Ivana Brlić-Mažuranć collection starting at 20:30. |
