 Guido,
a former police officer, now working as a security guard in a rich man’s
villa in Turin, meets a Slovenian woman, Sonia, a hotel maid, at a
speed-dating night. Sparks ignite between the two and Guido invites her
to the villa to get better acquainted with her. A pleasant evening is
interrupted by robbers...
Director Giuseppe Capotondi (1968.) studied philosophy from 1988 to 1990
in Milan and in 1991 he moved to London where he worked as a freelance
photographer
 for
different magazines and advertising agencies (Marie Claire, Vanity Fair,
etc.) In mid-nineties he started directing music videos (Zucchero,
Natalie Imbruglia, Skunk Anansie, Kelis, Bush, Keane, Ms Dynamite...)
and TV commercials for big brands (BMW, Vodafone, Toyota, etc.) for
which he received many awards. Since 2004 he resides in Barcelona. The
double Hour, his debut feature, has been screened at several major film
festivals (Toronto, Karlovy Vary, Rome).
